Cognitive Coaching

Cognitive Coachingsm will again be offered this fall for Missouri school leaders and instructional coaches. Cognitive Coachingsm is a supervisory/peer coaching model that will help you develop the capacity of those with whom you work. Often rated by participants as the best training they have attended, Cognitive Coachingsm teaches effective communication skills for the workplace and for life.

Participants learn how to:

Build trust and rapport,

Facilitate thinking through questioning and language precision,

Develop autonomy, efficacy and self-awareness in others,

Distinguish between coaching and evaluation,

Apply coaching skills to enhance intellectual performance, and

Utilize planning, reflecting and problem resolving maps and tools.

The training will be held at the MCSA building in Jefferson City on the following dates:

September 23-24
October 21-22
November 20-21
January 22-23

Cost for the 8 day training is $950 per person or $900 each for a team of three or more.
